The-Lighthouse Radio is a self-funded Christian radio ministry put together by a small group of Christians originally from the Philippines. This came about in mid-May of 2019, to continue the online radio ministry that was initiated by Ahillradio of Baguio, Philippines.
When Ahillradio discontinued to make way for church planting efforts in Bicol, Philippines, DJs Abelardo and Darlene Mayor took over the ministry under a new name, The-Lighthouse Radio. DJ May Zaporteza joined the radio ministry in June 2019, followed by DJ Robert Patricio in July 2019. The-Lighthouse Radio is broadcasting live from New Jersey and Virginia, USA.
The ministry’s purpose is to spread God’s Word, not only among the Filipinos around the world but to ALL who might wish to learn about the Good News, as well as those who would like to be edified through acappella Christian songs and live/recorded messages and sermons.
